Cooking for a Cause- Wine Diner

Updated: Dec 31, 2022

A few times a year my wife and I donate a wine dinner in our home to a local charity including our local art center and a few other worthy causes. These are auctioned off to raise funds and we cover the cost of the dinner in our home. These once or twice a year events although exhausting are a time for me to really put my culinary skills to the test. If you like china, like we do, it's also a great time to get it all out.

In February of 2020 we hosted 10 people including ourselves and here is what and how we cooked everything. Over the pasts months many of my weekly vlogs have come from this menu because I always want to share things with you I've perfected. A local wine purveyor Gay McLeskey at The Kitchen Emporium helped pair all of the wines. So anytime you have a big party ask your local wine shop for help. They can work with your budget and find just the perfect things to pair with your food taking the stress off of you.
