Creating a Layered Bed

We spend a third of our life in our beds so they need to be comfortable and beautiful. Bedding has changed so much in the past decades. Gone are the match-matchy shiny chintz spreads, fitted straight jackets for the bed that have to be precisely lined up. Now, the emphasis is on comfort, easy elegance and eclectic layering. When my parents rennovated my grandmother's home with a new interior design scheme I enjoyed teaching them how to let go of the styles of the 1990's and embrace a more relaxed casual style. Recently I also created rooms for my sons that hopefully will take them into early teenage years. Take a look at the video below on my tips to make your bed the most comfy place in the house.
