About David Locke

Hi, I’m David Locke—Realtor® and owner of Locke & Key Associates at Keller Williams Western Upstate, husband, and father of two boys. I’m proud to serve Anderson, Clemson, Seneca, and the broader Upstate of South Carolina with a style that blends marketing expertise, design knowledge, and genuine Southern hospitality.

Real estate is deeply rooted in my family story. I represent the third generation of a South Carolina real estate legacy that began in 1951 with my grandfather’s property and contracting business, followed by my mother’s work managing real estate from home. Long before I became a full-time Realtor, I spent twenty-two years owning an advertising agency and working as a lead graphic designer and photographer. That experience gave me a powerful eye for branding, presentation, and storytelling—skills I now use every day to help homes stand out and sell with impact.

I’m known as a listing specialist who believes great real estate is about more than putting a sign in the yard. Through Locke & Key Associates, I provide full-service guidance for buyers and sellers, including staging direction, home preparation, vendor coordination, strategic marketing, and design-driven presentation. My approach is guided by five core values: Relate, Help, Empower, Inform, and Create. I believe clients deserve honesty, creativity, education, and service that feels both personal and professional.

My wife and I love cooking, travel, design, and discovering great food, and my lifelong love of gardening comes honestly from my father, an agricultural agronomist. With a mother and grandmother who were gifted decorators and a grandfather who was a talented home builder, I grew up surrounded by creativity, beauty, and a deep appreciation for home.

I also host the Locke & Key Podcast, where I spotlight local business owners, community leaders, and the people who make Anderson and the Upstate such a vibrant place to live. Whether I’m helping a client sell a home, sharing homeowner ideas, or highlighting life in our community, my goal is always the same: to make life easier, more beautiful, and more meaningful for the people I serve.
