About Taylor Kelley

Born and raised in Starr, South Carolina, Taylor Kelley brings deep local roots, a strong work ethic, and a genuine love for people to Locke & Key Associates. A 2013 graduate of Crescent High School, Taylor has spent her life in the Upstate and understands the close-knit communities, family traditions, and welcoming spirit that make this area such a special place to call home.

Family has always been at the center of Taylor’s life. She is the second of five children, one of thirteen grandchildren, and the daughter of parents who have shared more than three decades of marriage. Most importantly, she is the devoted mother of an 11-year-old daughter whom she has proudly raised for the past ten years. Their home is also shared with Benjamin, her spirited two-and-a-half-year-old miniature Dachshund.

Taylor’s professional experience has prepared her well for the many details and responsibilities involved in a real estate transaction. Her background includes working in printing and packaging at First Quality, as well as serving as a post-closing specialist and closing assistant in a real estate law office. That behind-the-scenes experience gave her valuable knowledge of contracts, documentation, deadlines, and the many steps required to take a transaction from agreement to a successful closing.

Taylor also earned a degree in Funeral Service from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur, Georgia. Her education and professional experiences have strengthened her ability to remain organized, compassionate, attentive, and composed while helping people navigate important and sometimes emotional moments in their lives.

Before beginning her real estate career, Taylor spent years working directly with the public, including serving guests at The Galley at Portman Marina. Through that experience, her involvement in the fitness community, and her lifelong connections throughout Anderson County, she developed relationships with people from many different backgrounds. She understands that exceptional service begins with listening, treating everyone with respect, and making people feel comfortable and cared for.

Discipline and perseverance have also played an important role in Taylor’s story. As a former member of the National Physique Committee, she competed in bodybuilding and earned first place in her class at a competition in Columbia, South Carolina. The dedication, preparation, and determination required to reach that goal continue to influence how she approaches her career and serves her clients.

When she is not working, Taylor enjoys spending time with her daughter and extended family, relaxing by her family’s pool, boating, reading, and going to the gym. She is happiest near the water and surrounded by the people she loves.
