Our family hosted some great family friends for a pool day. We all wanted a drink that was sweet but not too sweet, alcoholic but not something that would smash your brains out and something that would be refreshing in August South Carolina heat. We began experimenting and came up with this amazing poolside concoction that is really quick and easy. I don’t use too many mixes but Trader Joe’s Margarita Mix is the best I’ve ever found.
Ingredients
- 4-6 oz ice
- 4 oz Patron Tequila (or half for those that don’t like too much alcohol)
- 4 oz Trader Joe’s Margarita Mix
- 4 oz Pineapple Juice
Method
Combine the ingredients in a blender; I use a NutriBullet. Blend until frothy. Serve immediately in an insulated cup with a lid if you are serving for your pool day. Makes one drink.
