My wife came up with this when didn't limes and were quarantined for the Corona Virus. It's a Margarita that uses Meyer lemons, which are a cross between oranges and lemons, instead of the traditional limes. Meyers are sweeter and less sour than regular lemons. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 oz El Patron Tequila
- 2 oz Fresh Squeezed Meyer Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Belle Orange Liqueur
Method
Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds, pour over crushed ice.
